Support farms and agro-processors to comply with the required standards (both voluntary and mandatory), regulations and code of practices to ensure access to both local and international markets. We support national standards such as KS1758 which is a code of practice for the horticulture sector and international standards such as Global-GAP, BRC, FSSC 22000.
We task ourselves in developing and strengthening the skills, instincts, abilities, processes and resources that government officials and organizations/firms need to survive, adapt, and thrive in this fast-changing world. We especially offer capacity building on food systems including
• Food Safety Management Systems
• Quality Management Systems
• Good Agricultural Practice
• Environmental Management
• Development of Quality Manuals
We support smallholder farmers by conducting a study that seeks to identify the current and relevant agricultural practices responsible for promoting sustainable rural livelihoods and to explore how these practices have impacted a specific community’s livelihood assets, means, and outcomes.
To support agricultural production we develop production and food safety protocols and manuals to ensure compliance to plant health, animal health and food safety measures.
We undertake value chain analysis to help understand the environment through which the different value chains operate. In addition, we identify the actors and analyse their strengths and weakness. We also undertake stakeholder/institutional mapping, analysis and restructuring and policy analysis and evaluation. We offer innovative solutions to help improve the value chain. In addition, we offer market linkages for actors along the value chain to help increase income for the actors.
